Bigmeats has positions available for an experienced slaughterer, with experience in beef and pork preferred but 1 essential. Must be able to do a minimum 2/4 of the following. Working Monday to Friday commencing work at 6am. Wage will vary on skill and qualifications.
- Hide removal using air knife
- Operate Carcass splitting saw
The primary role of slaughterer will be to perform skilled slaughtering jobs on Beef and pork productions to a safe and hygienic standard. Ensuring product is of highest quality and does not jeopardise food safety. Wage will vary on skill and qualifications.
- High work ethic
- Pass a drug screen
- Q-fever vaccinated or willing to get vaccinated prior to induction
- Must be fit and able to complete minimum 8-hour shift for 5 days a week
